Where modular factory assembled products don't suit the heat transfer requirements posed by large-scale Industrial plants, Pritchard is able to deliver clients customised field erected solutions offering extended equipment life, superior structure and optimal thermal performance compared to alternative systems.
BAC & Pritchard adapt proven heat transfer concepts and adept engineering ability to design, supply and install large-scale field erected solutions across the Refrigeration, Power Generation, Industrial and HVAC markets.
Field Erected Cooling Towers are custom designed for individual site and thermal requirements and built from pultruded composite materials designed specifically for Cooling Tower applications.
Field Erected Industrial Process Coolers use evaporative cooling to consume less energy, with less space requirement, reduced capital investment and minimum maintenance compared to alternative cooling systems.
BAC & Pritchard have in the past specialised in field erected towers constructed of native forest timber. To help reduce the depletion of native forests, and as a commitment to be more environmentally conscious, BAC & Pritchard now specialise in the supply of stainless steel or pultruded composite fibre structural components.
How is Pritchard helping our Native Forest?
Planting Trees
Pritchard and our affiliates have planted in excess of 70,000 trees in timber plantation projects to replenish the impact our timber cooling towers have had on the environment.
Choice of Materials
We've made a conscious choice to no longer use timber in construction of cooling towers. We only supply stainless steel or pultruded composite products.
