Each VC1 unit has been designed to ship in standard 40ft general purpose container. This eliminates the extra cost for crating and the need to transport on a flat rack container. The fully containersed shipment ensures that transport damage is almost eliminated.This has been achieved by the innovative use of a fan housing closure panel which is field installed. The benefit of this approach is to enable B.A.C to ship units of higher capacity in containers to any location.
